Azima Chowdhury is corporate counsel with six years of experience in the legal field and a Senior Associate at our esteemed law firm. She holds an Honor’s in law from Birmingham, UK, and was called to the Bar of England and Wales in 2015 from the Honorary Society of Inner Temple. Azima spent majority of her career working mainly on regional and international M&A, private equity, and structured financing transactions.

Azima has been part of numerous high-profile deals with clients from all over APAC region, particularly in the infrastructure, power and energy, garments, tobacco, and financial services sector. She has been at the forefront of developing the firm’s reputation for advising foreign clients on the execution, management, and exit of high value, complex M&A transactions.

Azima advises clients on corporate structuring and restructuring matters, foreign investment, company law matters, joint ventures, commercial contracts, and pre-litigation strategy.
