Colonel Islam served in the Army for twenty-seven years. A graduate from the Defence Services Command and Staff College, and ex-signaler with expertise in telecommunication and IT, Colonel Islam served in the Bangladesh Military Academy and School of Signals, and had been extensively engaged in formulating policies on cyber-security within the military intelligence organization. Colonel Islam is a Certified Scrum Master (CSM) and a Programmer on Oracle Language. He completed Master of Arts in English, Master in Defence Studies (1st class), Master in Business Administration from the Sobey School of Business, Saint Mary’s University, Canada and Diploma in Project Management from George Brown College, Canada. Off late, he completed post-graduation certification in Higher Education Teaching from Harvard University (USA). Colonel Islam takes keen interest in Brand Protection and IPR Enforcement actions, and as a Partner at Old Bailey Chambers he heads the Brand Protection & IPR Enforcement Team.
